Reception Area
This set of Maple inlayed Oak furniture, was made to match a previous commission. The coffee table has butterfly wedges in the top, which is a traditional joint that is ascetically pleasing to the eye. The height of this table was determined so that the stools could be stowed away when not in use.
The top unit had two sliding doors that run on roller guides, a smooth easy action. These doors reveal a good size of storage. The veneer on the doors were book matched from the centre, which gave a decorative, balanced and symmetrical pattern in the wood grain.
