Hall Table

Commission, TaBLE

With this table we wanted to maximise the light in a small, shadowed area. To do this we added a mirror to the top to bounce any light and made the table using Maple – a light timber.

Shape and Form

The table is to house a radiator so we recessed the top for airflow to avoid any heat being trapped. Using Rosewood inlay and Rosewood wedges in the through tenons, this table stands elegant and non-intrusive.

Materials

Selecting the right material for a Howard Butler piece is an essential part of developing it’s character. Knowing not only how it will look aesthetically today but how it will age and strengthen over time. Each HB creation also comes with a guide on how to keep it fresh and last a lifetime.

Rosewood / Maple

“There is a dovetailed drawer hidden in the top rails for keeping items in, thus de cluttering the top and overall design. Certainly a statement piece of furniture you can never tire to look at from all angles.”

“Perfection is all in the execution”
